SYNOPSIS
Set in present-day Los Angeles, FALL RISK is an authentic, gritty drama that invites audiences into the life of Dylan (Victoria Pedretti), a queer, chronically ill woman in her early 30s, facing a consuming battle with her recent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
Her supportive girlfriend, Emily (Caitlin Stasey), serves as the foundation of her residual strength. Yet, as Dylan fights a seemingly unfounded, disconcerting gut feeling, it propels her to seek help from her best friend Meredith (Highdee Kuan). When suspicions prove true, Dylan is forced to confront not only the deceit of her body, but also of her relationship. Months later, the film culminates in a raw and emotional exchange, as Dylan grapples with the nonlinear nature of her grief, love, loss and healing.
Written and directed by Alex Martini and based on true events, FALL RISK serves as a canvas for the exploration of the intricacies of human relationships and invites the audience to challenge their own perceptions of trust and identity.
